Tuukka Rask was supposed to take over between the pipes in Boston this year. But instead of making saves in front of screaming fans at TD Garden, he's overseas — and apparently injured.
According to Roman Jedlicka, Rask left Tuesday's game in Prague after one period with an apparent "mild groin injury." Rask, 25, missed most of March and all of April last season due to a lower abdomen/groin strain. Check out the tweets below.
#Bruins G Tuukka Rask didnt finish game in Pilsen, he was in goal only for 1st period. Maybe some injury.
