Nike Soccer cameras watched the two Real Madrid stars as they tried their hands at making music.
Ronaldo spoke of spending so much time and energy focusing on soccer that he needs to take an occasional break. Apparently, U.S. presidential politics aren’t the only thing that strikes Ronaldo’s fancy when he’s off the field.
“Music is a part of me,” Ronaldo says during the clip.
The Portuguese superstar then puts on the headphones, gets behind the microphone and sings a bar of music. Thankfully that’s all he sings. His feet do a much better job of speaking for him than his vocal cords ever could.
Ronaldo follows his short-lived career as a songbird by beat-boxing. Thankfully, that didn’t last very long either.
Most of the world knows Pepe as the ultra-aggressive center back for Real Madrid and Portugal, but he shows a softer side in this video. He was part fan and part tourist during most of the visit, spending much of his time taking photos, hanging out with the (real) musicians and giving Ronaldo a bit of grief for losing his nerve behind the microphone.
Watch Ronaldo and Pepe visit a music studio in the video below.
