Jared Allen Ready for End of Civilization, But Still Unable to Grasp Mayans’ Prediction (Video)

While we now know that the Mayans were full of crap in terms of the world ending, Vikings defensive end Jared Allen wasn’t going to take any chances.

Allen recently geared up for the end of days, apparently forgetting that the world ending would render all of his preparations moot. Nevertheless, Allen stocked up on snacks, and informed ESPN’s Kenny Mayne that he’d be ready if the Mayans really were on to something.

Allen also isn’t thrilled with the Mayans’ calendar, which stops at Dec. 21, 2012, so he decided to take matters into his own hands. A classic photoshoot later, the calendar lives on, and the world is still intact.
