Michael Kidd-Gilchrist May Not Be Able to Beat Michael Jordan, But He Can Still Dunk Pretty Well (Video)

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist plays for the Bobcats, meaning he has to do something out of the ordinary to get people’s attention.

Last week, he did just that when his 19-year-old body couldn’t take down just-about-50-year-old Michael Jordan. But this week, the rookie has redeemed himself somewhat with a stellar dunk.

Kidd-Gilchrist, who is averaging 9.1 points and 5.7 rebounds a game for Charlotte, threw down a reaching, one-armed jammed over the Pistons’ Greg Monroe in Wednesday night’s game. So, while the kid may not be able to beat Mike in a game of one-on-one, he’s at least on the way toward looking like him.
