Robert Kraft Dealing With ‘Precancerous’ Skin Condition, Urges All to ‘Get Your Faces Checked for Skin Stuff’

Robert Kraft was sporting some noticeable red blotches on his nose and right cheek earlier this week at the NFL Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Ariz., which has left fans and media members concerned for the Patriots’ owner’s health.

Kraft explained his blotches, and urged everyone to be more careful when it comes to skin care. A dermatologist reached out to the media and explained that they are precancerous lesions known as actinic keratoses, commonly a result of too much sun exposure, according to Patriots.com.

“I was going to put band-aids on them, but I thought I’d be very straight and say, ‘All of you should get your faces checked for skin stuff.’ This is just lotion they made me put on that hopefully makes it go away,” he said.

“It was just small spots [at first]. You couldn’t see them. The dermatologist gave me this cream. I’ve been putting it on for two weeks. I have about two or three more weeks [of treatments to go].”

The ever-witty Kraft made light of his situation by saying “some of you might see my face… you should see the other guy.”
