Terry Francona sees Bobby Valentine’s bike riding and raises him a scooter.
The former Red Sox managers may share an affinity for alternate modes of transportation, but no injuries occurred for Francona while he was riding his scooter throughout Arizona. During spring training, the Cleveland Indians skipper has been foregoing a vehicle with four wheels and instead opting for one with two.
Francona even half-joked about riding his scooter to Progressive Field when the regular season starts because his home is closer to the ballpark than his parking spot is.
