Following the events of the Boston Marathon bombings, Coyotes defenseman Keith Yandle had an inspirational message for his hometown, and five days later he once again is showing the pride of a true Bostonian.
After writing “Pray for Boston” on his skates before Phoenix took on the Sharks on Monday night, Yandle is continuing to honor the place he calls home. Prior to tonight’s matchup with the Blackhawks, Yandle wore a sweater during warmups to honor 8-year-old Martin Richard, who was killed in the bombings.
Check out Yandle’s amazing gesture below.

The support doesn’t end there, however, as the Coyotes and Blackhawks will sign Yandle’s warmup jersey and auction it off for charity.
