That could soon change. The Milwaukee Bucks reportedly consider Sloan a “serious candidate” for their head coaching gig, making the Bucks the fourth team in the last two years to be connected with the 71-year-old coach. Sloan would replace interim coach Jim Boylan, who took over after Scott Skiles and the team parted ways in January.
Sloan’s 1,221 career coaching wins are the third-most in NBA history. He coached the Jazz to two NBA Finals and six Western Conference Finals, most recently in 2007 with Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer.
