It sounds like Hossa should be back for Game 4, though.
That’s according to head coach Joel Quenneville, at least. Quenneville told the media Tuesday at TD Garden that Hossa was “likely” to play in Game 4 on Wednesday. He was scratched just before puck drop on Monday night with what the Chicago coach labeled as an upper-body injury.
Hossa is tied for the team lead with 15 points this postseason. He’s scored seven goals and added eight assists. He’s also a pivotal part of a struggling Chicago power play, with three power-play goals during the playoffs.
