Jonny Gomes was all kinds of fired up after his walk-off home run against the Rays. Why wouldn’t he be?
Gomes saved the Red Sox from spoiling Felix Doubront‘s stellar outing and rescued Andrew Bailey with his two-run blast in the bottom of the ninth. As he rounded third, the outfielder was so psyched, he took off his helmet and punted it into the air in celebration. After the game, he called it “The Fenway Punt.”
