Tuukka Rask and Patrice Bergeron are going to be Bruins for a very long time. This isn’t officially in writing yet, but it sure sounds like it’s very, very close.
Bruins president Cam Neely admitted as much Monday afternoon during a radio appearance on 98.5 The Sports Hub, saying that extensions for the goalie and forward should be done in a matter of time.
“Still close,” Neely said. “[General manager Peter Chiarelli] is working on the fine details of getting things done, but we’re down to the nitty-gritty.”
Neely also said that the Bruins are working on a long-term contract extension for Chiarelli, as well.
