The legendary Alabama coach is hallowed in college football and throughout the South for what he did with the Crimson Tide during his 25-year reign, but his influence appears to have waned since his 1983 death — and in certain regions of the country. No, Dominique, Bear is not some kind of cartoon, but Alabama may get a chance to reacquaint him if both schools win out in their respective SEC divisions this year. Perhaps Easley — a senior — will be given a brush-up history lesson then, Roll Tide-style.
