Nathan Horton Signs Seven-Year, $37.1 Million Deal With Blue Jackets

Nathan Horton is heading to Columbus.

The former Bruins forward signed with the Blue Jackets Friday, according to the team’s Twitter account. Horton’s deal is for seven years, $37.1 million and he will get $30 million in first five years, according to Bob McKenzie. Horton will also be out until December following offseason shoulder surgery.

The winger spent the last three years with the Black and Gold, scoring 56 goals in 169 regular-season games after being traded from the Panthers along with Gregory Campbell in 2010.
