It’s hard not to have a soft spot for some things from the past. Then again, there are things that are better off behind us — like the A’s throwback jerseys.
The Athletics sported uniforms from days long ago when they hosted the Angels Saturday afternoon. Oakland defeated Los Angeles, 3-1, so either the change of garb brought good luck upon the A’s or the bright yellow pants blinded the Angels lineup.
