Spectacular Game-Ending Catch Caps Off 12th Annual Travis Roy Foundation Wiffle Ball Tournament (Video)

Konnor Fleming earned himself a spot in the wiffle ball Hall of Fame Saturday afternoon.

Fleming sacrificed his body to make a diving, over-the-fence catch to secure the final out and victory for his team at the 12th Annual Travis Roy Foundation Wiffle Ball Tournament. The foundation raises money for research to treat spinal cord injuries, and last year the event raised $435,000.

The great catch occurred at arguably the greatest wiffle ballpark — Little Fenway — a quarter-scale replica of Fenway Park that is located in a family’s backyard in Essex, Vt. The field was constructed in 2001 and built exclusively for wiffle ball games.

And while the umpire originally signaled for a home run on the play, the officiating crew eventually reversed the call, according to Deadspin.

Check out the catch that will go down in wiffle ball lore in the video below.
