Eric Griffin might not see the floor much this season for the Heat, if he even makes the team, but at least he brought a smile to the face of the best player in the NBA on Thursday.
Griffin, an undrafted rookie out of Campbell, opened eyes with his vertical leap during summer league and earned a training camp invitation. He has averaged only 2.0 points and 1.4 rebounds in five preseason games, but he really wanted to block Mason Plumlee‘s shot in the Heat’s preseason game in Brooklyn.
Unfortunately for Griffin, Plumlee pump-faked, then dribbled by while Griffin literally soared over his head. LeBron James got a kick out of it.
