Stephen Drew Makes Sensational Over-the-Shoulder Catch to Keep Game Within Reach for Red Sox (GIF)

The Red Sox struggled at the plate all night against Detroit’s pitching, and not a single Sox batter got a hit through eight innings in Game 1 of the ALCS at Fenway Park.

Through eight, though, the game was still within reach for the Sox thanks to some stellar defense. The Tigers put one run on the board, and Sox shortstop Stephen Drew helped keep the game at one run with a clutch over-the-shoulder grab for out three in the top of the ninth.
