Rookie Aaron Dobson missed practice for the second straight day with a foot injury on Thursday. Dobson got hurt against the Broncos. He missed Sunday’s game against the Texans.
Alfonzo Dennard missed practice for non-injury-related reasons. He was in court for a probation hearing. He will be back in court on Friday.
Brandon Spikes returned to practice after being absent on Wednesday. His nonattendance was not injury related. He was limited on Thursday with a knee injury, though.
Marcus Cannon (ankle) was the only other player missing from practice on Thursday. Kenbrell Thompkins (hip), Michael Hoomanawanui (knee), Kyle Arrington (groin), Marquice Cole (shin), Steve Gregory (finger), Rob Gronkowski (back/forearm/hamstring), Will Svitek (ankle) and Aqib Talib (hip) were limited.
Tom Brady (right shoulder), Matthew Slater (wrist), Danny Amendola (groin) and Shane Vereen (wrist) were full participants. The Patriots were back in shells and sweats. They practiced once again on the Revolution’s usual lower practice field at Gillette Stadium.
