Tomcat BradyMove over, Puppy Bowl, the kittens are in town.

In competition with Animal Planet’s ever-popular Puppy Bowl, the Hallmark Channel announced it will host the first annual Kitten Bowl on Super Bowl Sunday featuring some feline friends. Meowshon Lynch and Tomcat Brady are just a couple of the kittens that will duke it out over toys on strings and laser pointers in the arena.

Even more exciting is that in the weeks leading up to the big game, there will be a 24/7 kitten livecam (!!!) along with player profiles and interviews. The three-hour event, in Association with North Shore Animal League America, will be emceed by the radio voice of the New York Yankees, John Sterling.

Much like the Puppy Bowl, the Kitten Bowl will feature rosters of rescue kittens to raise awareness for animal adoption, and the Hallmark Channel guarantees the 60 to 70 kitten participants will join the list of pets adopted into loving homes. Everyone wins.
