Vancouver Canucks coach John Tortorella has some explaining to do to the brass at the NHL.
Tortorella confronted the Calgary Flames in the hallway after the first period of Saturday night’s game after the two teams were involved in a massive brawl. As the teams were headed back to the locker rooms during the intermission, Tortorella appeared to try and get at Flames coach Bob Hartley, sparking an altercation. Tortorella is reportedly set for an in-person discipline hearing with the NHL on Monday in New York, according to Renaud Lavoie.

The subsequent disciplining is unlike what it would be for a player in that it would be handled by former head of player safety Colin Campbell, not current head of player safety Brendan Shanahan, according to CBSSports.com.
No word on whether Hartley will face any repercussions for his actions surrounding the team brawl and hallway confrontation.
