Providence Bruins forward Carter Camper is heading to the Columbus Blue Jackets.
On Friday, the B’s acquired defenseman Blake Parlett in exchange for the 25-year-old Camper, who has eight goals and 23 assists in 41 games this season with the P-Bruins. During the 2011-12 season, Camper played in three games with the Bruins, registering one goal.
Parlett, 24, has four goals and 14 helpers to go with 22 PIMs and a minus-3 rating in 37 games with the Springfield Falcons this season.
The undrafted, 6-foot-1 Ontario native was part of the 2013 Rangers-Blue Jackets trade that sent Steven Delisle and Marian Gaborik to Columbus in exchange for Derick Brassard, Derek Dorsett, John Moore and a sixth-round pick.
