Jets Trainers Save Woman’s Life After Boarding Flight To NFL Combine

New York Jets assistant trainers Josh Koch and Dave Zuffelato got a headstart on the NFL Scouting Combine, putting their training to use before they even arrived in Indianapolis.

On their way to the combine last Monday, the two trainers helped save an elderly woman on an airplane at Newark Airport. According to The Star-Ledger, the door had just closed on Koch and Zuffelato’s flight when a passenger alerted others on the plane that a woman sitting next to her needed immediate medical attention.

The trainers, along with a doctor onboard, helped the woman off the plane and performed CPR for approximately five minutes until paramedics arrived.

“We’re conditioned to help people,” Zuffelato told The Star-Ledger. “When the situation arose, the doctor, Josh and I did our best to help.”

Meaning the Jets’ trainers actually might be more clutch than their players.
