Sean Avery knew how to ruffle opponents’ feathers during his 10 years in the NHL.
Now, he’ll be shuffling, sliding, shaking and shimmying on the upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars,” according to the New York Post.
Avery joins the long list of former professional athletes to trade in their sports gear for tights and sparkly shoes, but he’ll become the first ever former professional hockey player to join the cast. Perhaps his time spent “dancing” with Martin Brodeur in 2008 will transfer to the ballroom well?
