Jared Allen, Anthony Spencer Among Best Available NFL Free Agents

NFL free agency is a week old, but there is still plenty of top talent left on the open market.

Defensive end Jared Allen is the best available free agent. Allen will be 32 years old when the season begins, but he’s been making the rounds on free-agent visits and will likely sign if a team is willing to give him the contract he’s looking for.

The New England Patriots’ best available free agents are running back LeGarrette Blount and center Ryan Wendell. Both players were starters by the end of the season but haven’t received much interest.
