London Knights goaltender Anthony Stolarz received an eight-game suspension from the Ontario Hockey League for slashing Windsor Spitfires forward Josh Ho-Sang in the head during Tuesday night’s quarterfinal playoff game.
After a first-period whistle, Ho-Sang gave Stolarz’s pads a little slash, which caused the reaction from the Knights goalie. The most shocking result of the incident was that Stolarz received just a two-minute minor penalty for high sticking.

It was a wild night for goalies. Spitfires netminder Dalen Kuchmey later skated off the ice and left the arena — with five minutes remaining in the second period.
