Daniel Paille Participated In Optional Practice, No Timetable For Return

The Boston Bruins held an optional practice Wednesday at Joe Louis Arena and injured forward Daniel Paille was on the ice.

Paille has not played since April 12, when he was on the receiving end of a nasty hit from Buffalo Sabres defenseman Jake McCabe at the TD Garden, suffering a head injury. He has been skating for nearly a week, but there’s not word on when he’ll return.

“He hasn’t been cleared, to my knowledge,” Bruins coach Claude Julien told ESPN Boston. “He can skate right now, and he’s following protocol.”

Forward Jordan Caron, who scored his first Stanley Cup playoff goal in the Bruins’ 3-0 Game 3 victory Tuesday, has filled in during Paille’s absence.
