The Patriots will open their preseason schedule Thursday, Aug. 7, on the road against the Washington Redskins.
Week 1: Thursday, Aug. 7 at Washington Redskins
Week 2: Friday, Aug. 15 vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Week 3: Friday, Aug. 22 vs. Carolina Panthers
Week 4: Thursday, Aug. 28 at New York Giants
The Patriots’ regular-season schedule likely will be released next week.
The team’s offseason workout program starts Monday. The Patriots will meet for organized team activities on May 27, May 29-30, June 2-3, June 5, June 9-10 and June 12-13. Mandatory minicamp will run from June 17 to June 19. The team then will have more than a month off before training camp begins in late July.
