Liverpool Unveils Yellow Road Uniforms By Warrior (Photo, Video)

Liverpool is going back to the future, as far as its road uniforms are concerned.

Liverpool on Wednesday unveiled new, yellow uniforms (or “kits”), which it will wear on its travels in 2014-15. The new look is the brainchild of the club and manufacturer Warrior Sports.

The uniform features a yellow base color with red outlines and lettering.

The new strip is a throwback to Liverpool’s glory days in the early 1980s when yellow was the primary color for its road uniforms.

Goalkeepers will wear uniforms with a similar design, except black is the base color and the letters are yellow.

The 2014-15 road uniforms go on sale June 13. Fans can pre-order now to ensure delivery on that date.
