Did P.K. Subban Blow Kiss At Shawn Thornton In Handshake Line? (Video)

A handshake line between the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens after a tough seven-game playoff series seems dangerous, but it’s an unavoidable NHL formality.

The Bruins and the Habs had their fair share of fighting during the matchup, and pesky Montreal defenseman P.K. Subban was at the center of much of it. So, it’s not surprising that he would use the handshake line to try to get the last word in the Canadiens’ 3-1 victory.

Yahoo! Sports spotted something as Subban neared Bruins forward Shawn Thornton, who squirted the Canadiens defenseman with his water bottle from the bench during Game 5. Subban appeared to blow a kiss in Thornton’s direction as he went in for the hug.

Below is the NHL video of the whole line.

It’s honestly hard to tell if it’s a taunting kiss or just a head nod, but given the intensity of the rivalry, it wouldn’t be surprising either way.
