Mike Trout is arguably Major League Baseball’s best emerging young star, so his success in Tuesday night’s MLB All-Star Game should come as a surprise to no one.
Still, one analyst’s dead-on prediction of what the Los Angeles Angels outfielder would accomplish at Target Field was downright freaky.

That was Mike Amsinger of the MLB Network during the MLB Red Carpet Show on Tuesday afternoon, hours before the players took the field.
Trout obliged Amsinger almost down to a tee, hammering a ball over Yasiel Puig’s head in right field for a triple that drove in Derek Jeter from second base in the last All-Star Game of his career.
Trout, — who was named the game’s MVP after going 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs on the night — really is that good, so we wouldn’t be surprised if the 22-year-old slugger hit a triple simply because Amsinger told him to.
Because honestly, is there anything Trout can’t do?
