It wasn’t your average Monday night at the ice rink for a pair of Buffalo men’s league hockey teams when Patrick Kane stopped by and offered his services.
The Chicago Blackhawks star, who recently signed an eight-year, $84 million extension with the team, took his talents to a much smaller stage as he suited up for the Piranhas Hockey Club of the Performax Hockey League in his hometown.

Kaner showed no mercy against his lesser opponents either, lighting them up for five goals and five assists. The Piranhas destroyed Essex St. Pub (obviously, seeing as they weren’t playing alongside any Stanley Cup champions) 13-5, but surprisingly Kane wasn’t his team’s leading goal scorer.
His teammate, Vinny Scarsella, who spent last season with the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL, netted seven goals on the night, which had to be the worst night of the opposing team’s goalie life.
Heads up, Buffalo, No. 88 could be coming to a local beer league near you.
