The cornerback beat wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins in their first 1-on-1 matchup, then, in a physical showdown, Thompkins knocked Browner down and made a reception in their second face-off. Browner beat Thompkins again and began to get annoyed that the offense wasn’t getting the ball out fast enough.
Wide receivers coach Chad O’Shea called a penalty on Browner against wideout Brandon LaFell, and the cornerback got heated.
After practice, Browner said that he and O’Shea “hugged it out.”
Browner recorded his first interception of training camp late in 11-on-11s against Tom Brady.

— Revis, Collins, Butler and Hawkins had pass breakups in 7-on-7 drills.
— The Patriots are bringing back all five starters from 2012 and 2013, but it doesn’t appear that those five roles are locked down. There’s a lot of movement on the offensive line with the first and second teams.
