Report: ’90 Percent’ Chance LeBron James Returns To Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers could become a top contender to win the 2015 NBA Finals in the near future.

A source told Sheridan Hoops there’s a strong chance that four-time league MVP LeBron James will leave the Miami Heat to re-join the team that drafted him No. 1 overall in 2003.

“A plugged-in source tells me there is a 90 percent chance that LeBron James will return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, and it will be announced on www.lebronjames.com if it happens,” Chris Sheridan wrote Tuesday.

“That is my latest intelligence, and it comes from the same league source who told me Monday that he felt there was a 75 percent chance James returns to his original NBA team.”

It’s hard to know what to believe in this LeBron free agency saga, especially since there are so many reports each day. The latest development is that James will meet with Pat Riley and the Miami Heat on Wednesday to discuss his future:

James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh all opted out of their Heat contracts before the start of free agency. Bosh reportedly has received a max offer from the Houston Rockets.
