Kevin Love reportedly is headed to the Cavs, following native son LeBron James and vaulting the long-suffering Cleveland franchise to the top of the list of Eastern Conference champion contenders. With Love and James teamed with Kyrie Irving, it almost doesn’t matter who else the Cavs have on the floor.
The Cavs will have a fairly solid supporting class, anyway, with Mike Miller, Tristan Thompson and perhaps even Ray Allen spreading the floor and doing the dirty work for the three stars.
Believe it or not, Love and James aren’t the only big names to switch teams this summer. Plenty of impact players, including All-Stars past and (possibly) future, made moves that shifted the balance of power in the NBA. No other team had the sort of offseason Cleveland did, but quite a few did pretty well for themselves.
