Brandon Marshall Makes Insane One-Handed Touchdown Catch Against 49ers (GIF)

Brandon Marshall was questionable entering Sunday night’s game in San Francisco. Luckily for the Chicago Bears, Marshall was in the lineup and left no doubt that he was more than good to go.

The Bears stormed back with 21 points in the fourth quarter to shock the San Francisco 49ers, and Marshall played a huge role in Chicago’s first win of the season.

When it was all said and done, Marshall had caught three of quarterback Jay Cutler’s four touchdown passes. It was the one in second quarter, however, that was most impressive.

Just a few plays after being crushed with a hit to the sternum, Cutler stood in the pocket and threw a laser into the end zone. That’s where Marshall showed off his freakish athletic ability by going up in the air to make a phenomenal one-handed catch.

Here’s another view of that remarkable catch.

Marshall’s explanation for how he made the catch? Pretty simple, actually.

“I just threw my hand out there, and it stuck,” Marshall told reporters after the game, according to The Associated Press.
