Tim Miles is the head basketball coach at the University of Nebraska.
He is not Les Miles, and quite frankly, he’s a bit tired of being mistaken as the LSU football coach.
Why the mixup? Miles (Tim, not Les) has the distinction of owning the Twitter handle “@coachmiles,” which apparently has been enough for LSU followers to flood his feed with tweets intended for the Mad Hatter.
On Wednesday, Tim Miles decided to set the record straight once and for all.

You get the idea.
While Tim Miles probably could have picked a more specific Twitter handle (Les goes by “@LSUCoachMiles”), it’s not his fault that he happens to share a last name with one of the most recognizable coaches in college football.
We’re glad he does, though, because these responses are pretty awesome.
Tim also led the Cornhuskers to their first NCAA tournament appearance since 1998 last season, so maybe his coaching resume will be enough to take back control of his disputed Twitter handle.
