We truly have no in-depth knowledge of Stern’s punting skills — and hadn’t even heard of him before Thursday night — but after witnessing him pin Arizona at the 3-yard-line with a coffin-corner punt and do “The Bernie,” we are fairly confident in declaring the Texas-San Antonio punter the best in the country.
Seriously, look at that flawless form. The impeccable fundamentals. That, right there, is a football player who knows how it’s done.
