Bills Player Elbows Coach In Head While Gesticulating Wildly (GIF)

Don’t you hate it when you accidentally deck your coach in the head?

Buffalo Bills safety Leodis McKelvin was pushing for a call to be overturned during the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions, but he might have gotten a little too caught up in arguing his case.

McKelvin was gesticulating wildly as he walked backward on the sideline, gesturing that the throw was incomplete, and in the process, he clocked defensive line coach — and former New England Patriots assistant coach — Pepper Johnson right in the head.

Not ideal. But McKelvin’s arm swinging clearly paid off because Matthew Stafford’s nine-yard touchdown pass to Eric Ebron was eventually ruled incomplete. Stafford connected with Golden Tate for a touchdown on the very next play, but the Bills went on to win 17-14.
