Boston Bruins To Host Military Appreciation Night Nov. 10 At TD Garden

The Boston Bruins would like to show their appreciation for the men and women of the armed forces.

The Bruins will honor local military members, veterans and their families Monday, Nov. 10, as part of Military Appreciation Night presented by the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Army National Guard. The B’s are playing the New Jersey Devils at 7 p.m. ET at TD Garden.

Bruins players Matt Bartkowski, Chris Kelly, David Krejci, Torey Krug, Brad Marchand and Kevan Miller each will purchase $2,500 worth of tickets to the night’s game and give them to local military members and their families. The military members and families who sit in the player-donated seats then will have the opportunity to meet the players after the game.

Patrice Bergeron also will host Defending The Blue Line (DTBL) — a non-profit organization that ensures children of military members are afforded every opportunity to participate in hockey — in his private suite as part of his Patrice’s Pals program.

Bruins fans who would like to follow in their team’s footsteps can do so through the “Seats for Soldiers” program. The program enables fans to purchase specially priced $125 lower-level seats and $75 upper-level seats that will be donated to the Boston Bruins Foundation, which in turn will donate the seats to the USO New England. Interested fans can call 617-624-1810 or visit www.BostonBruins.com/military.

Soldiers and their families will be honored throughout the Bruins’ Nov. 10 game. The entire team will wear camouflaged Spoked-B jerseys for warmups and will use camouflaged stick tape during the game to show its support.
