Canadiens Read Mean Tweets About Themselves In Jimmy Kimmel-Inspired Video

The Montreal Canadiens were tired of waiting for “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to do an NHL version of its “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets” segment, so they went ahead and made their own.

The popular segment, which features celebrities and athletes reading and reacting to mean tweets written about them, has included several sports figures, from Erin Andrews and DeSean Jackson to Nick Saban and Brady Hoke. Here is the Habs’ homemade version.

In the video, Canadiens players Lars Eller, Carey Price, Alexei Emelin and Max Pacioretty have some fun responding to negative tweets about them. Turns out Pacioretty is the kind of guy to put on “Paradise by the Dashboard Light” by Meat Loaf and leave the bar.

Defenseman P.K. Subban did not make an appearance, although he probably could have a segment all to himself, especially after he recently admitted to farting to annoy the opposition.
