Minnesota Staff Member Eats Ice Cream Bar In Middle Of Snowstorm (GIF)

It’s cold and snowy in Minnesota, but that couldn’t stop one University of Minnesota football staff member from enjoying a frozen treat.

A man identified as Gophers sideline phone technician Dan Lehman decided Saturday afternoon it was ice cream weather. Lehman was spotted on the sideline crushing an ice cream bar as snow fell around him.

The forecasted high for Minneapolis on Saturday afternoon? A balmy 21 degrees.

The Minnesota coaching staff certainly likes its ice cream. Gophers head coach Jerry Kill enjoyed some chocolate chip cookie dough as he prepared for this weekend’s game with Ohio State.

Minnesota might need some more ice cream to eat away its feelings, as No. 8 Ohio State held on for a 31-24 win.
