Scalpers In Detroit Selling Free Jets-Bills Tickets For $125

Free tickets are surprisingly expensive in Detroit.

After a record amount of snow recently hit New York, Sunday’s Bills-Jets game — originally scheduled to be played in Buffalo — was moved to Monday night in Detroit. General admission tickets for the game at Ford Field were made available for free on Saturday, and were all quickly snatched up.

The Lions held on to 500 tickets at the box office, but those freebies were scooped up within 10 minutes of being made available Sunday morning.

Soon after collecting their free tickets, “fans” took to the streets surrounding the stadium and attempted to sell them for an amount much more than free, with one scalper asking for as much as $125 a ticket, according to ESPN’s Mike Rodak.

“This ain’t a free game, man,” one scalper told Rodak.
