Josh Thomas Has Jets Playbook, Passport Stolen, Is Released By Team

Josh Thomas lost an iPad with some extremely sensitive information on it earlier this week.

The cornerback tweeted Monday that his bag was stolen, and inside it was his New York Jets playbook on a team-issued iPad, his passport and other items.

Thomas was released by the Jets on Tuesday and picked up by the Detroit Lions on Wednesday. He told Detroit media that he “wasn’t given the attention necessary” by the Jets’ coaching staff, according to ESPN.com.

Jets secondary coach Tim McDonald had a bit of a different story.

The Jets said Monday that they remotely deleted everything from the missing iPad as soon as they were notified Sunday night that it was missing.
