The showdown in the desert is set. The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks have survived their respective conference’s gauntlets and now will meet in Super Bowl XLIX.

Here are some important facts you need to know about the game.

Date: Sunday, Feb. 1

Location: University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.

Kickoff time: 6:30 p.m. ET.

Channel: NBC (the game also will be streamed on NBC’s Sports Live App)

What’s at stake: The Seahawks are trying to become the first team to repeat as Super Bowl champions since the Patriots did it in the 2003 and 2004 seasons. Meanwhile, New England quarterback Tom Brady is looking to win his fourth Super Bowl ring and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick his sixth ring (four in New England, two as an assistant with the New York Giants).
