Max Pacioretty Fools Bruins Fans In Boston By Feeding Them Burgers (Video)

Max Pacioretty shouldn’t have many allies in Boston, but it’s amazing what free burgers can do.

The Montreal Canadiens forward apparently has a new McDonald’s burger named after him, and as part of the marketing campaign for that burger, he and Micky D’s hit up the streets of Boston. The thinking, of course, being that if Bruins fans can enjoy a burger named after a Hab then anyone can.

We’re skeptical as to how real the video actually is, but in the well-done spot, Pacioretty flies to Boston and hits the Hub’s streets armed with his burgers. He hands them out and fans rave about how good they are. Then they say things like “Max 67 is awesome!” and they all look like big burger-crushing dummies when they realize the guy standing there giving them free burgers is, you know, this guy.

Maybe it’s real. Maybe it’s not. Either way, tip of the cap to McDonald’s and their marketing folks for a pretty creative commercial.

Also, the reactions are priceless.
