Paul Pierce and the Washington Wizards are not in the best of moods lately. They’re just 9-15 since Jan. 28, and that includes a recent five-game winning streak.
But until Sunday, they had mostly avoided causing any collateral damage.
Even sitting courtside at a Wizards game became hazardous when Pierce shoved Sacramento Kings swingman Omri Casspi into the Sleep Train Arena crowd, where Casspi landed on a little girl. The girl, reportedly the granddaughter of Kings partner Larry Kelly, appeared to be OK besides a few tears.

The girl was carried out of harm’s way, and the Kings went on to exact some revenge on her behalf, defeating Pierce and the Wizards 109-86.
