Brandon Spikes ‘Confused’ By Justice System After Aaron Hernandez Verdict
Brandon Spikes might be letting his relationship with a former teammate cloud his judgment.
The former New England Patriots linebacker (currently a free agent) couldn’t help himself upon learning the fate of ex-tight end Aaron Hernandez. On Wednesday, Hernandez was found guilty of first-degree murder in the 2013 shooting death of Odin Lloyd.
Spikes — who also played with Hernandez at the University of Florida — wasted no time giving his opinion. The linebacker sure seemed to disagree with the verdict, tweeting this in the moments following the announcement.
