Kobe Bryant Selling California Beach House That Features A Shark Tank

Kobe Bryant is selling his California home.

Well, one of them.

The Los Angeles Lakers star would be set to turn a profit on his Newport Beach home, situated inside the gated Pelican Ridge community. It was originally built and sold in 1997 for $1.7 million, and Bryant bought the home — which recently has been renovated and expanded — in 2001.

The Mediterranean-style home sits on roughly half an acre of land. Inside, the 8,741 square-foot home features an 850 square-foot movie theater, a hair salon, a gym and a custom shark tank.

Yes, a custom indoor shark tank. Because it would be silly to have the outdoor pool and spa area, which includes a waterfall, if there were sharks swimming around.

Bryant previously tried to sell the mansion two years ago for $8.599 million, according to Daily Pilot. The home is currently listed for $6.45 million.
