More like Mookie Best.
The Red Sox outfielder has shown his superstar potential on the diamond this season, taking over the team’s home opener in impressive fashion and most recently hitting a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift Boston over the Toronto Blue Jays 6-5 on Monday. But the 22-year-old is quite the talented dude off the field, too.
Prior to Tuesday’s game against the Jays, Betts blew NESN sideline reporter Gary Striewski away — OK, he blew us all away — as he easily solved a Rubik’s Cube in 1 minute and 53 seconds.
Just add this to Betts’ list of impressive, and quite frankly surprising, feats. In between his blazing Rubik’s Cube times and becoming a certified stud in the city of Boston, Betts also thrived at football, basketball and even bowling back in the day.
Is there anything this guy can’t do?
