A celebrity graced Fenway Park with his presence Sunday. And I’m not just talking about James Taylor.
The Miami Marlins superfan known as “Marlins Man” stopped by Fenway to catch the series finale between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees. “Marlins Man,” as you might recall, made waves last October while attending the Kansas City Royals-San Francisco Giants World Series.

“Marlins Man,” wearing his usual duds, stuck out like a sore thumb last October at Kauffman Stadium while sitting behind home plate amid a sea of blue. The Royals’ owner wasn’t thrilled about the fan’s exuberance, Marlins Man said at the time, but there was no stopping his fandom.
The loyal Marlins supporter’s real name is Laurence Leavy, and he’s a huge sports fan who boasts quite the resume as far as attending athletic events. Now, if he hadn’t already done so, “Marlins Man” can cross off attending a Red Sox-Yankees game on his bucket list.

And hey, at least he enjoyed Fenway’s cuisine.
